When the sun sets, a different world wakes up. On this gentle guided walk along forest-edge and village trails, we search with torches for frogs, geckos, snakes, owls and glowing fungi.
Sri Lanka's shrub frogs are especially active after rain — many species skip the tadpole stage entirely and hatch from their eggs as tiny froglets. Your guide will show you how to spot eye-shine and identify night calls.
